Over the next few weeks, I’m going to be doing videos showing how you can make different cards using the same stamp set.
I often find that once I’ve made a design, I then think I need to get another stamp set so I can make a different type of card, so this past week I decided to set myself a challenge of making a few different designs using the same stamp set. Firstly, to save money and stop me constantly buying more stamps, but also to show how easy it is to actually come up with a number of completely different designs even though you are using the same stamps.
To do this I’ve been using the ‘You’ve Got This’ stamp set which is in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue.
I hope you enjoy this little video series over the next few weeks.
Base
1. Cut whisper white 25 cm x 28 cm.
2. Score and fold in half
3. Cut Tip Top Taupe 12 cm x 13.5 cm and attach to base card
Sentiment
1. Using a left over piece of Tip Top Taupe card, stamp the flower image from the ‘You’ve Got This’ stamp set and cut to approx 7.5 cm x 9.5 cm.
3. Stamp a sentiment and cut to approx 5.5 cm x 3.5 cm.
4. As I am using the same colour card for the background and the sentiment, to make them stand out a bit, use a sponge and dab the edges with Tip Top Taupe ink.
5. Attach dimensionals to the flower and sentiment and fasten to the card. As the sentiment will be slightly higher on the top left hand side due to it being fastened on top of the flower, simply attach 2 dimensionals on top of each other on the top right hand corner of the sentiment so it sits level.
6. Finally, attach a little peg.
Don’t forget to join me next Sunday for another quick video on how to use this great stamp set.
