What a busy couple of weeks!

I’ve been so surprised, but also really pleased at the level of interest I’ve been receiving in my cards. These past couple of weeks I have been working none stop making cards and boxes for people that are leaving shortly. I wish I could take credit for this, but I’m terrible about trying to sell my own work, instead, one of my friends here has really been supporting my work and spreading the word around her colleagues at the school and the shop and the response has been unbelievable, so I have been knee deep in stamp ink and card, but I love it!!! The envelopes were inspired by my Upline Michelle Lasts’ notebook cover that she made for me when I joined her team, and the lovely multi-faceted box was madeimage 27 by Sam Donald from Pootles, so sadly I can’t take credit for that, but I have loved making them to co-ordinate with the cards. Box The box looks really good using co-ordinating ink so here I used Watermelon Wonder card and Watermelon Wonder Ink and the gorgeous flower from the ‘You’ve Got This’ Stamp Set. Envelope  Again, I co-ordinated the envelope with the card and used the new 2015 – 2017 In Colour Envelope Paper. Card For the cards I used co-ordinating card and ink and the new ‘You’ve Got This’ background stamp. As they are leaving, they all liked the little map of the area I had been putting on cards so that was requested on them all and I also included a little element of their hobby/interest. I wanted to try and keep these cards clean looking, whilst still including elements to make the card personal to the individual. image 28   image 32 I hope you enjoy them :-)
